Does DJI Modify work only with models generated by DJI Terra?
Yes, DJI Modify can currently edit exclusively 3D mesh models in visible light reconstructed using DJI Terra V4.0.0 or later. This integration ensures an optimised workflow and high-quality results.
What types of defects can it automatically correct?
DJI Modify automatically corrects floating objects, mesh holes, irregular water surfaces, flattened vehicles and texture issues. Corrections can be applied with a single click or manually by selecting specific areas.
How many point clouds can I process simultaneously?
The software can handle up to 4.2 billion points per LAS file and load point clouds up to 50% of your system’s available RAM. With 30GB of free RAM, you can process approximately 15GB of point cloud data.
Which export formats are supported?
For meshes: PLY, OBJ and B3DM. For point clouds: LAS, PNTS, PLY, PCD and S3MB. These formats ensure compatibility with most professional CAD, GIS and 3D modelling software.
Is it possible to transfer the licence to another computer?
Yes, single-device licences allow one unbinding request per year, while multi-device licences allow up to two annual unbinding requests. After unbinding, all devices associated with the licence are disconnected.
