What is the difference between the Educational and Professional versions?
The Educational version has a 500-photo reconstruction limit, is permanent, and costs significantly less than the Professional version. It includes all main features but is intended exclusively for educational and research use.
Can I use the licence on more than 10 devices simultaneously?
No, the Educational licence supports a maximum of 10 simultaneous active installations. To exceed this limit, you will need to purchase additional licences or consider the Cluster version.
Which DJI drones are compatible with Terra Educational?
Terra Educational works with all DJI Enterprise drones (Matrice 30/300/350/400 series), Phantom 4 RTK, Mavic 3 Enterprise and related payloads such as Zenmuse L1/L2, P1, H20/H30 series.
Is it possible to process LiDAR data without RTK connection?
Yes, via PPK (Post-Process Kinematic) processing by importing observation files from a base station (RINEX, RTCM, OEM, UBX) along with raw L1/L2 data.
Does the licence include future software updates?
Yes, for the first year after activation. Subsequently, a maintenance fee will be required to access updates for versions released after the first year.
Can I use Terra Educational for commercial projects?
No, the Educational licence is intended exclusively for educational, research and academic use. For commercial projects, a Professional or Flagship licence is required.
