Designed specifically for the DJI Matrice 350 RTK and DJI Matrice 400 drones, the system integrates an 80-85cm anodized aluminum spray bar with 4 1/4" bayonet quick-connect high-pressure nozzles, providing effective coverage of about 1.20 meters per pass just 5cm from the surface. The system supports working pressures up to 300 bar for effective removal of dust, pollen, sand, guano and any organic or industrial residue. With a total weight of only 1.2kg, the impact on the drone payload is minimal. ⚠️ The kit is an accessory: it does not include the DJI Matrice 350 RTK or Matrice 400 drone or the pumping and water supply system. It requires an external pressure source (pressure washer ≥300 bar or DroneBase system).

What is the realistic productivity on a PV system?
With a coverage of ~1.20m per pass and a typical speed of 1-2 m/s, the drone treats approximately 400-800 sq m per flight (25-30 minutes of effective range). With 6 TB65 batteries for DJI Matrice 350 RTK, 2,400-4,800 sq m per day is estimated under optimal conditions. Actual productivity depends on the geometry of the system, the degree of soiling, and the working pressure set.
Is the kit only compatible with DJI Matrice 350 and 400?
The included mounting kit is designed specifically for DJI Matrice 350 RTK and DJI Matrice 400. Mounting to other drones with suitable payloads is possible but requires a custom adapter not included. Contact the DroneBase technical team to assess compatibility with other models in your fleet.
Which pump is needed? Is it compatible with the DroneBase systems already in use?
The kit connects via standard M22 14mm + 1/4" QC connection and is fully compatible with the DroneBase ecosystem. If you already use the Drone Cleaning System DroneBase you can add the horizontal kit without new pumping components. For new installations we recommend a pump with minimum output of 10-15 L/min at 100-300 bar depending on the type of dirt.
Do you need ENAC permits for photovoltaic drone cleaning?
Operation of DJI Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 400 in Italy falls under EASA Specific Category (MTOW greater than 25kg in full configuration). Cleaning operations on private facilities typically require ENAC operational clearance or STS declaration depending on the operational context. How long does installation take before an operation?
The quick-release system allows installation on DJI Matrice 350 RTK or Matrice 400 in less than 5 minutes. The M22 + 1/4" QC hydraulic connection is equally quick. Nozzles are replaced in the field in seconds without tools thanks to the bayonet system. The boom remains installed between flights-no need to remove it for drone battery replacement.
Does the spray bar resist vibration of the drone during flight?
Yes. The industrial anodized aluminum structure is designed to withstand the vibrational stresses typical of heavy drone flight. The quick-release mounting system includes anti-vibration restraints to ensure bar stability during cleaning passes even in moderate wind or microturbulence.
