Dual-band gain module for 2.4 and 5.8 GHz with a built-in amplifier on both transmit and receive and an omnidirectional fibreglass antenna. Built for vehicle installation: the antenna swings through 0 to 180° from inside the cab, so the vehicle stays within its height envelope and can drive on. It allows flying from inside the vehicle or from enclosed spaces, with 10 hours of endurance and an IP66 protection rating.

The system mounts without tools: the antenna attaches magnetically or by suction cup to the vehicle roof, the module stays in the cab and the display shows the operating state at all times.
The problem with vehicle-based positions is not only signal: a fixed vertical antenna puts the vehicle over height and effectively off the road. Here the antenna folds down from inside, and the command post goes back to being an ordinary vehicle between one site and the next.
The C2 Range Extender is a dual-band gain module built to extend radio link coverage for drone operations run from a vehicle-based position. It integrates a power amplifier that works on both transmit and receive, with a stated gain of 13 dB in each direction, and operates on the 2.4–2.485 GHz and 5–5.85 GHz bands with automatic frequency switching to suit the environment. Duplexing is time division.
What sets the system apart is its adjustable antenna: omnidirectional, fibreglass, dual-band, 43 cm long and 22.5 mm in diameter, with 6 dBi gain, a standing wave ratio below 2, 50 Ω impedance and vertical polarisation. Rotation through 0 to 180° is adjusted from inside the cab with ±2° accuracy: the vehicle can fold the antenna down and drive on without height problems, then raise it again on site. Mounting is magnetic and by suction cup, with no tools, an operating load of up to 5 kg and lightning protection by DC grounding.
The module measures 171 × 130 × 66 mm, weighs 1.29 kg, is built in metal and carries an IP66 protection rating. The built-in 10200 mAh battery gives 10 hours of operation in normal mode at 3.5 W and 7.5 hours in burst mode at 5 W, with an operating range from -25°C to +55°C. The 21.8-gram auxiliary control unit shows the system’s state in real time on a 172 × 320 screen at 350 nit. Stated compatibility covers the DJI Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK, M300 RTK, M30, Matrice 4T and 4TD, FlyCart 30 and FlyCart 100 and the Mavic series. Supplied by DroneBase, DJI Gold 5 Dealer certified ISO 9001:2015, with a preliminary review of configuration and operating conditions, pre- and post-sales technical support and operational training.
