The standalone Zenmuse L2 (from €13,199, VAT included) is the right starting point if you already have a coverage strategy in place or fly occasionally. You get the complete payload — frame-based LiDAR, high-precision IMU and integrated 4/3" RGB camera — ready for the DJI Terra workflow. DJI Care Enterprise can also be added later, but only within the eligibility window after purchase, so most professional buyers add it from the start.

L2 + DJI Care Enterprise Basic — essential protection

DJI Care Enterprise Basic (€1,200/year) covers accidental damage with repair or replacement at fixed, predictable costs, plus priority support. It is the baseline level of protection for a high-value LiDAR payload and the most popular choice for teams that want to cap repair costs without committing to full loss coverage.

L2 + DJI Care Enterprise Plus — maximum continuity

DJI Care Enterprise Plus (€2,400/year) extends coverage to total loss of the payload, with rapid replacement that minimises downtime. It is the configuration to choose if you fly the L2 daily on commercial contracts with tight deadlines, where a payload out of service for repair would put a project at risk.

DJI Care Enterprise Plus Upgrade — extend your coverage

The DJI Care Enterprise Plus Upgrade (€1,200) renews Plus coverage for an additional year, so you keep total-loss protection and rapid replacement on a payload that stays in service well beyond its first year. Add it before your current coverage expires to avoid any protection gap.

Which one to choose

As a rule of thumb: occasional use or an existing insurance policy → the L2 on its own or with Basic; intensive, daily commercial use on deadline-driven contracts → Plus; an L2 already in service whose coverage is about to expire → Plus Upgrade.
