The Zenmuse H30 series features a 40MP high-resolution zoom camera, supporting an optical zoom of up to 34× and an incredible 400× digital zoom. Compared with the previous generation, [2] it not only observes subjects at greater distances, but also captures more details.
More stable images from the zoom camera
With DJI's latest image stabilization algorithm, the Zenmuse H30 series can effectively reduce vibration in telephoto shots, providing stable and clear images for detailed power line inspections.
Laser detector up to a max. of 3000 m
The laser detector boasts a measurement range up to 2.5 times greater than the previous generation, [3] accurately capturing information on the location of subjects within a range of 3 m to 3000 m, [4] including linear distance from the camera, altitude and GPS coordinates.

Both the zoom camera and wide-angle camera in the Zenmuse H30 series can switch to Night Scene mode in low light, improving the quality of live view and recording. This ensures efficiency and operational accuracy at night, enabling continuous operation from day to night.
Supports black and white night vision and NIR illumination
In Night Scene mode, the Zenmuse H30 series zoom camera supports IR light enhancement and NIR illumination. The camera switches from the live feed to a grayscale image by removing the IR filter, thus enhancing the contrast between light and dark areas and making it easier to spot subjects. When the NIR auxiliary light is activated, the zoom camera can benefit from additional NIR illumination, which is particularly useful for nighttime surveillance and search and rescue operations.

Infrared resolution 1280×1024
The infrared camera boasts a resolution of 1280×1024, 4 times that of the previous generation, [6] with a digital zoom of up to 32×. This allows for an overview of the entire scene and the ability to zoom in on specific areas. At higher zoom levels, Zenmuse H30T automatically activates the Ultra-High Resolution (UHR) Infrared Images function, [7] ensuring the sharpness of infrared images.
High-resolution mode for even more precise observation
Zenmuse H30T supports three infrared detection modes: The High Gain mode for more precise temperature measurement, the Low Gain mode for a wider measurement range, and the new High Resolution mode, [8] especially useful for observing objects, people or animals with small temperature differences, making it very practical for security, emergency, search and rescue operations.
Simultaneous zoom from visual and IR cameras
The Zenmuse H30T's zoom camera and thermal imaging cameras support Link Zoom, allowing operators to scale visible-light and thermal images in tandem while maintaining the same viewpoint. This side-by-side comparison of image details helps locate the subject more quickly, increasing efficiency and saving effort.
Temperature measurement range from -20 °C to 1600 °C
With the installation of an infrared density filter, [9] the infrared camera can measure temperatures up to 1600 °C, 3 times higher than the previous generation. [10] This is particularly useful for firefighting and high-temperature operations, as it allows for more effective assessment of temperature changes and quick localization of hot spots, increasing the efficiency of rescue efforts.
Smarter multi-scenario operations
In Smart Capture mode, the Zenmuse H30 series zoom and wide-angle cameras automatically evaluate ambient light brightness and dynamic range, and apply intelligent image algorithms. This ensures the production of photos with natural transitions between light and shadow and rich detail, even in high-dynamic, high light or low light environments.
In conditions such as smog or high atmospheric humidity, the Zenmuse H30 series zoom camera employs the new Electronic Dehazing function [11] To improve image sharpness. It offers low and high levels of haze removal to suit different operating environments and requirements.

More reliable information synchronization and storage
All Zenmuse H30 series cameras, including zoom, wide-angle and thermal infrared cameras, support prerecording. They can retain footage of 10, 15 or 30 seconds before formal recording begins, ensuring more complete recording and capturing key information that might otherwise be quickly lost.
The Security Code function enables encryption of microSD cards, fully protecting files. AES-256 encryption technology ensures the security of data transmission between the radio controller and the aircraft. It also supports one-click log deletion to prevent information leakage.
Operators can check live views of the Zenmuse H30 series through the cloud platform on DJI FlightHub 2 to stay up-to-date with the dynamics on the ground. This enables quick remote control and facilitates air-to-ground coordinated operations.
