10 spectral bands to obtain images comparable to Landsat and Sentinel satellite images, with higher resolution.
The MicaSense RedEdge-P Dual system for drones consists of high resolution multispectral and RGB sensors for plant classification, weed identification, environmental research and conservation, and vegetation analysis of water bodies.
The dual solution includes RedEdge-P and RedEdge-P Blue cameras.
RedEdge-P Dual is a product that complies with the United States Federal National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
APPLICATIONS
Performing detailed analysis
Vegetation analysis of water bodies
Water surveys to examine chlorophyll efficiency, vegetation analysis, and identification of floating, submerged, and emergent algae or plants.
Monitoring
environmental
Coastal and nearshore mapping for water resource management, tidal zones, marshes, and glacier monitoring.
Water management
Surveillance of public water supply, management of water resources.
Habitat monitoring, protection and restoration
Erosion and biodiversity inspections, coral reef surveys in shallow waters inaccessible to boats and sensitive to human interaction.
Identification of plant species and weeds
Vegetation health management and species identification, with the ability to differentiate and count plants, trees, invasive species, and weeds.

Radiometric calibration kit
DLS Light Sensor
The Downwelling Light Sensor (DLS) is an advanced incident light sensor. It measures ambient light and the angle of incidence of solar irradiance for each of the camera’s multispectral bands. This information can then be used by specialized processing tools to correct for global illumination changes during a flight, such as those that may occur due to the movement of clouds covering the sun.
CRP Reflectance Panel
The Calibrated Reflectance Panel (CRP) is a compact radiometric calibration instrument. The panel has pre-measured reflectance values across the visible and near-infrared light spectrum and thus serves as a control element. Taking a picture of the calibration panel allows you to assign known reflectance values and adjust the data set accordingly during post-processing.
