Wind Measurement Module for Drones
The Sniffer4D ultrasonic wind speed and direction module offers real-time capture of temperature,
humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction.
With built-in algorithms for translational, position and rotational motion compensation, the module enables real-time output of wind speed and
direction even while the drone is moving, ensuring accurate weather measurements while the drone is in flight.

Connected to Sniffer4D V2 and multi-rotor drones, the Sniffer4D ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensing module offers real-time capture of temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction in 3D dimension. The wind sensing system significantly fills gaps in near-ground sensing, providing added value in the analysis of gas diffusion, fire propagation, and vertical scanning. Typical applications include ambient air monitoring, hazardous materials emergency response (HAZMAT), wind energy facilities, scientific research, and more.

With the lightest and most integrated weather sensor, our Sniffer4D module for ultrasonic wind speed and direction detection can accurately acquire weather information by calculating the travel time difference of ultrasonic waves in 3D dimension.

Efficient Response and Deployment
Based on the ultrasonic sensing method, the externally mounted wind sensing module is lightweight and has no moving parts.
It has no wind speed limitation at startup and requires no adjustment prior to missions.
Seamless integration with DJI M300 RTK/350 RTK and Plug & Play using an XT30 cable
or Type-C cable significantly reduce preparation time prior to flights.
