Every Minute Saves a Life
The professional drone delivery system for emergency healthcare logistics. Rapid, certified, fully traceable transport of blood, plasma, drugs, biological samples, vaccines and organs. Where ground transport fails, our aerial system makes the difference between life and death.
When the clock is ticking, altitude becomes a lifeline
In emergency medicine, time is the most precious variable. A blood unit unavailable, a drug delayed, an organ arrived past its viability window: these are not statistics, they are lives lost. Yet today, the transport of biomedical goods between hospitals, blood banks and transplant centers still depends on roads that congest, traffic that blocks and times that no longer match the urgency of medical need.
The DroneBase Hospital Delivery System radically transforms this scenario. Through certified unmanned aerial vehicles and an intelligent transport capsule equipped with integrated IoT sensors, we connect hospitals, laboratories and emergency centers with deliveries that take minutes instead of hours, in full compliance with international biomedical transport regulations and the cold chain.
Not a futuristic concept, but a technology already operational, validated by clinical trials, regulatory authorities and partnerships with major Italian and European healthcare facilities. The future of medical logistics is already flying above us.
Engineered for Critical Medical Missions
A certified multicopter platform integrated with the intelligent transport capsule, designed specifically for emergency healthcare scenarios. Carbon fiber composite frame, redundant flight systems, multi-sensor obstacle avoidance and certified ballistic parachute for operations over populated areas.
Compatible with 90% of commercial multicopters, the system can be quickly deployed across diverse hospital networks without infrastructure overhauls. The dedicated capsule houses sensors, battery, connectivity module and biological payload in a single certified container.
Blood. Drugs. Organs.

One Tap. One Mission. Total Control.
The dedicated mobile application makes activating a hospital delivery as simple as ordering a ride. Authorized medical personnel selects the destination, the type of payload and the priority level — the rest is fully managed by the system: drone allocation, route planning, regulatory authorization, real-time monitoring.
Both web portal and mobile app provide a unified interface for healthcare professionals, transport operators and supervisors. Every action is logged, every parameter is tracked, every event is recorded on blockchain for legal and audit purposes.
- Simple — Intuitive interface designed for medical personnel, not technicians
- Reliable — Data protected against crashes, attacks and operational failures
- Nominal — Every user registered with personalized roles and permissions
- Blockchain — Every operation immutably recorded for legal evidence
- Multi-modal — The first app worldwide that enables both aerial and ground transport
- Live monitoring — Continuous dashboard for users, drones, routes and locations
How a Mission Unfolds
From the activation request to the delivery in the operating room, every step is orchestrated by the SPOKE platform and supervised by certified personnel. A repeatable, traceable, auditable process that compresses hours into minutes.
Activation from Hospital
The receiving doctor or transfusion service activates the request through the SPOKE platform: type of payload, destination, urgency level. The system automatically calculates the optimal route and reserves the available drone closest to the origin.
Loading the Smart Capsule
The donor facility staff inserts the biomedical material into the Smart Capsule, sealing it according to UN3373 protocol. Sensors activate, cold chain is verified, identification labels and electronic seals are applied automatically.
Authorized Take-off
Pre-flight check of critical systems, anchoring of the capsule to the aircraft, activation of safety sensors. Vertical take-off supervised by certified BVLOS pilot from the remote control center. The mission enters the active phase.
Monitored Flight
Flight along the planned route with real-time telemetry, active obstacle avoidance, encrypted video transmission. The receiving team monitors the position and parameters of the cargo on dedicated dashboard. ETA updated continuously.
Precision Delivery
Approach to the destination hospital vertiport with RTK positioning ±10 cm. Controlled landing or precision lowering by winch. Authorized personnel collects the Smart Capsule, verifies seal integrity and immediately transfers the contents.
Confirmation & Audit
Electronic confirmation of delivery, generation of the complete flight report with all monitoring parameters, blockchain registration of the operation for legal evidence. The drone returns to the operational base for the next mission.
In emergency medicine, the difference between minutes and hours is the difference between a saved life and an irreversible loss. Drone-managed hospital delivery is not a technological luxury: it is the most concrete answer to the structural challenge of contemporary healthcare logistics.

Emergency Blood Transfusions
Immediate transfer of compatible blood units from the central transfusion service to peripheral hospitals during surgery or post-trauma emergencies.
Organ Transplantation
Coordinated transport of organs and tissues between procurement centers and transplant hospitals, with drastic reduction of cold ischemia times.
High-Cost Drug Delivery
Distribution of biological therapies, oncological drugs and personalized treatments between hospital pharmacies and operating units across the territory.
Diagnostic Sample Transport

Pandemic Response
Rapid response in scenarios of epidemic emergency or natural disaster, with no-contact transport of swabs, samples, drugs and protective equipment.
Specialized Pediatric Transport
Transfer of neonatal, pediatric biomedical material and specific therapies for rare diseases between dedicated centers and reference hospitals.
Emergency Coordination 118
Integration with regional emergency systems to enhance 118 ambulance fleet capabilities in case of distant interventions or simultaneous emergencies.
Healthcare Reaches Where Roads Cannot
Beyond the hospital network: Safety Island is a new generation of coastal hubs designed for monitoring, first aid and life-saving delivery on beaches and at sea. Energy-autonomous infrastructure that integrates drone delivery into the broader public safety ecosystem.
An Autonomous Hub on Every Coast
Each Safety Island is a 20 m² infrastructure equipped with a first-aid room, medical equipment, defibrillator and a small Vertistop on the photovoltaic roof for drone take-off and landing. Built to be fully energy-autonomous through integrated solar and wind systems, it requires no grid connection.
Aerial drones handle coastal monitoring and life-saving medical delivery — plasma, defibrillators, emergency drugs — while electric-propulsion water drones, automatically controlled, can rapidly reach people in distress at sea. A coordinated land-air-sea response system, ready 24/7.
The project is signed by the internationally renowned Giancarlo Zema Design Group for the ecosustainable architecture, with eVertySKY (Urban Air Mobility) and Safesea (marine rescue) as strategic partners.
