DJI’s D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station represents one of the most advanced high-precision positioning solutions in the professional drone industry. Designed for complex operations and critical missions, it integrates high-performance antennas and receivers capable of monitoring major GNSS systems and providing data with centimeter accuracy.
With the ability to support multiple transmission links, the D-RTK 3 enables simultaneous control of multiple drones, making it ideal for mapping missions, surveying, and multi-drone operations in conjunction with platforms such as DJI Matrice 4TD and DJI Dock 3.
Relay Mode: Overcome obstacles and extend the operating range
In complex environments, such as urban centers or mountain valleys, Relay Station mode allows the signal range to be significantly extended. By installing the D-RTK 3 on a high point, a stable transmission of up to 25 km can be achieved, overcoming physical obstacles and ensuring a smooth connection between drone, base station and radio control.
The real-time signal quality analysis function assists in navigating the drone, optimizing the position according to operating conditions.
Base Station mode: centralized multi-drone control
The D-RTK 3 can also operate as a base station, allowing simultaneous management of multiple drones over large areas. With four external directional antennas, it provides stable video transmission up to 15 km, with omnidirectional coverage. This enables centralized and efficient control, ideal for large surveys without complications in configuration.
Rover Station mode: flexibility and precision on the move
Rover Station mode makes it possible to collect geographic coordinates with high accuracy even on the move. This feature is particularly useful for applications such as precision agriculture, industrial surveying and infrastructure inspection. The operator can move freely in the field without compromising the quality of the collected data.
Robust design for fixed and reliable installation
The Fixed Deployment version of the D-RTK 3 is designed for permanent installations on structures such as towers, poles or walls. IP67 protection ensures resistance to dust, rain and extreme conditions, while the -30°C to +50°C operating temperature range ensures reliability even in the harshest climates.
It is compatible with DJI power supplies (such as the DJI Airport 3) or third-party sources, making it perfect for extended missions without the need for ongoing maintenance.
Advanced positioning technology with millimeter accuracy
With its dielectric filter antenna and multi-constellation receiver, the D-RTK 3 is able to maintain high accuracy even in complex environments prone to signal reflections (multipath), such as urban or industrial areas.
The system receives data from five major GNSS constellations and integrates Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technology, supporting BeiDou PPP-B2b for decimeter accuracy even in the absence of a stable network.
Compatibility with DJI Enterprise App: complete management of GCPs
The D-RTK 3 integrates seamlessly with the new DJI Enterprise App, offering advanced tools for Ground Control Points (GCP) management and tilt compensation. Data can be exported in DJI Terra-compatible format, simplifying workflow and also enabling local PPK calculation.
