The Sniffer4D Nano2+ by AIRINS (formerly Soarability) represents the state of the art in airborne gas and particulate detection, designed specifically to integrate with the DJI Enterprise ecosystem. Its modular 5-slot architecture allows the sensor to be configured exactly for the requirements of every mission: from urban air quality to petrochemical site monitoring, from landfills to HAZMAT emergencies. Also available in the TDLAS Methane version with 1 ppm resolution via Multi-Pass technology, it is the only multi-gas sensor compatible with the DJI Dock 3 for fully autonomous missions without operator on site. Natively compatible with DJI Matrice 4D/4TD and extendable to Matrice 4E/4T and Matrice 400 via dedicated integration kits. The included AIRINS.ai software platform automatically generates 2D/3D visualizations, structured reports and GIS exports for integration with existing systems. How many gases can the Sniffer4D Nano2+ detect simultaneously?
Up to 5 gases simultaneously, chosen from a catalog of 22 modules (PM, O₃+NO₂, NO₂, CO, SO₂, H₂S, NH₃, OR, HCHO, TVOC, TSP and others). The modules are interchangeable in the field without tools.
What is the difference between the Multi-Gas and the Methane TDLAS version?
The Multi-Gas version has 5 slots for interchangeable electrochemical and optical sensors (PM, NO₂, CO, TVOC, etc.). The Methane version uses a dedicated TDLAS laser for CH₄ detection at 1 ppm with Multi-Pass technology. The two versions are not interchangeable: choose based on the prevailing application.
Is the Nano2+ compatible with the DJI Dock 3?
Yes, it is the only multi-gas sensor compatible with DJI Dock 3 for autonomous missions without an operator. In the Multi-Gas version it does not require a snorkel thanks to its compact format and connects directly via the Matrice 4D/4TD E-Port.
Can I use it with Matrice 350 or Matrice 400?
The Nano2+ is optimized for Matrice 4D/4TD. It is also compatible with Matrice 4E/4T (integration kit) and Matrice 400 (integration kit, up to 2 units simultaneously). For Matrice 350 we recommend the Sniffer4D Mini2 with 8 slots and external modules.
Is data visible in real time during flight?
Yes, gas concentrations are displayed in real-time in the DJI Pilot app and transmitted via 4G to AIRINS.ai for simultaneous visualization and recording. The LED indicators on the unit change color based on the detected concentration.
Is the AIRINS.ai software included?
Yes, both Sniffer4D Mapper and AIRINS.ai are included with no subscription for standard features: 2D/3D visualization, PDF/DOCX report generation, GIS exports in Shapefile, GeoJSON, CSV.
Does the Nano2+ reduce the drone’s flight time?
Minimal impact: the payload weighs less than 200 g, ensuring 35-40 minutes of flight on the Matrice 4. On larger drones such as Matrice 400, the impact is even smaller.
