The C5 Conversion Kit Dock 2 + Matrice 3D with AVSS PRS-M3DTEX Parachute is the professional certified recovery and safety system for the reclassification of DJI Matrice 3D and DJI Matrice 3TD drones operating via the DJI Dock 2 docking station. The kit integrates the AVSS PRS-M3DTEX Parachute Recovery System compliant with MoC 2512 and an independent Flight Termination System compliant with MoC 2511 (Enhanced Containment), enabling STS, SORA and high-safety critical missions in full EASA compliance for Specific category operations. The system is equipped with an attachment bracket designed not to interfere with the drone’s sensitive GPS modules, an electronic module to power the Parachute Pod™ and Flight Termination System, and an autonomous trigger device for parachute deployment. Automatic deployment occurs in less than 0.5 seconds from anomaly detection, with an average descent rate of 4.39 m/s and an average impact energy of 15.5 J — values meeting EASA requirements for operations over populated areas. The entire system (PRS + FTS) weighs only 195 g, keeping flight autonomy and drone operability practically unchanged. The kit also includes an independent manual trigger system, electronic module batteries, and complete documentation for ASTM F3322-22, MoC 2511, MoC 2512 and third-party certification, ready for presentation to civil aviation authorities.
